Position: Network Data Engineer
Location: New Jersey
Overview
The Network and Telecommunications Lead will be responsible for the design, implementation, and operational management of network infrastructure. This includes WAN, LAN, wireless, SD-WAN, voice systems, and associated security and monitoring platforms. The role requires deep technical expertise, strategic planning capabilities, and strong vendor and stakeholder management skills to ensure high availability, performance, and security of network services across all locations. This role is critical to ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performance connectivity across all enterprise locations, data centres, and cloud environments.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering and operations.
Expert-level knowledge of Cisco technologies (Catalyst, Nexus, DNA, ISE, SD-WAN).
Strong understanding of WAN routing, BGP, NAT, VPN, and firewall architectures.
Experience with wireless design and troubleshooting in high-density environments.
Strong understanding of cloud networking (Azure ExpressRoute, IPSEC tunnels).
Proficiency in SolarWinds, NetFlow, and network monitoring tools.
Proven ability to manage global vendors and support contracts.
Preferred Certifications
Cisco CCNP or CCIE (Enterprise or Security)
Versa SD-WAN certification (or equivalent experience)
Cloud networking certification (Azure, or equivalent)
ITIL Foundation
Experience: 5-8 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
