This career opportunity is with the Banking Domain and Consulting unit of Wipro within Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) vertical.  This is a Consulting Engagement Partner position to deliver profitable growth by building on existing and emerging capabilities within one of the largest Wipro accounts. The role holder is expected to grow the portfolio of services, and C-level relationships, which would also enable growth of other Wipro services.  The role holder will be a key partner in driving account level strategy, with other leaders across the account.

Responsibilities

  • Growth:  Defining a sound business growth strategy in conjunction with account team; focus on growing the consulting business contribution to account through differentiated sales, and higher billing rates and margins. Ensuring the consulting business opens new business opportunities to expand Wipro’s client footprint
  • Solutions and Competency: Enhancing positioning with the C-suite by effectively positioning differentiated services and solutions within the account
  • Branding: Creating a strong Wipro Market Positioning – help improve Wipro’s mindshare amongst key stakeholders in client organizations
  • People Leadership: Ensuring strong leadership with the consulting teams engaged on named accounts
  • Customer Centricity: Delivering customer value as a central theme across all activities. Ensuring Wipro is delivering as a partner and aligned to client/customer value and strategic goals. 
  • Branding: Leverage the above to help create strong Wipro Market Positioning and increasing Wipro’s mindshare.

Skills:

 

  • Proven track record in profitably growing revenues through consultative sales
  • Deep understanding of innovative customer models, products, services and business re-platforming strategies
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, relationship building and networking skills (clients, alliance partners, internal organization)
  • Creative and motivational consulting leader who can focus diverse teams around common outcomes
  • Entrepreneurial drive with a can-do attitude and pragmatic approach
  • Gravitas to engage and grow relationships with senior business and IT clients
  • Exemplary professional and corporate image
  • Highly adaptable in dynamic environments

  • Relevant experience working as an experienced consultant and SME across the business value chain (e.g. cards, payments, lending, retail/digital banking, commercial/corporate banking, asset management, investment banking, treasury) to position you in a leadership position
  • Experience in consultative selling and creating client business case for value-based pitches

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $190,000.00  to $265,000.00.

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
