Role Overview
The Partner – Payments is a senior leadership role responsible for driving strategic transformation initiatives in the payments domain across banking and financial services clients. This role blends domain expertise, business development, client relationship management, and delivery oversight to shape and execute high-impact consulting engagements.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Client Leadership
- Build and nurture CXO-level relationships across global banks, payment networks, and financial institutions.
- Lead pursuits and proposals for large transformation programs in payments modernization, real-time payments (RTP), FedNow, ISO 20022, and cross-border remittance.
- Drive revenue growth through proactive opportunity identification and strategic account planning.
- Represent the firm in industry forums, analyst briefings, and thought leadership platforms.
2. Domain Expertise & Solutioning
- Provide deep functional and technical expertise in payment architectures, payment hubs, and transaction processing systems.
- Lead solution design for core payment platforms (e.g., Fiserv, Finastra, ACI, Volante, Temenos, etc.).
- Guide clients on regulatory compliance (e.g., SWIFT, ISO 20022, AML, PSD2) and operational risk mitigation.
- Develop reusable assets, frameworks, and accelerators for payment transformation.
3. Delivery Oversight & Transformation Leadership
- Oversee execution of consulting engagements, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals and KPIs.
- Mentor and coach consulting teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

4. Innovation & Ecosystem Engagement
- Lead development of new offerings in digital payments, embedded finance, and AI-led payment analytics.
- Engage with FinTechs, payment processors, and technology partners to co-create solutions.
- Champion responsible AI, data privacy, and cybersecurity in payment solutions.

- Consulting revenue and margin growth

- Ecosystem partnerships and solution launches
Required Experience & Skills
Must-Have
- 20+ years in banking and payments, with at least 10 years in leadership roles
- Proven success in client-facing consulting roles
- Experience with platform implementation lifecycle (gap analysis, SIT/UAT, data migration)
- Exposure to platforms like Murex, Kyriba, Calypso, Finastra, Volante, or proprietary bank-built systems
- Knowledge of ISO 20022 migration, RTP/FedNow enablement, and central bank reporting
