Role Overview
The Practice Specialist - Technology Transformation at Wipro Technologies-USA plays a critical role in driving the company’s strategic sales initiatives within the Technology Services sector. This individual is tasked with leading complex sales processes end-to-end, from opportunity development through contract negotiation and closure, with a focus on multi-million dollar, global, and multifaceted technology transformation deals aligned with Wipro’s TTMS (Technology Transformation and Managed Services) service line.
This role demands a deep understanding of the IT Services and Consulting landscape, including expertise in cloud computing, application development, security, and business process outsourcing. As a key player, the Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence client strategy, and shape deals that bring substantial business value.
In addition to leveraging extensive sales and negotiation skills, the incumbent will apply design thinking principles to innovate and tailor solutions, ensuring customer-centric outcomes. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Lead comprehensive sales cycles by managing pipeline development, deal qualification, proposal management, and contract negotiations to drive closure of large-scale technology transformation engagements.
- Develop and execute competitive positioning and client engagement strategies that align with clients’ strategic objectives and Wipro’s business goals.
- Apply design thinking methods to identify innovative solutions and co-create value propositions that address complex business challenges.
- Build and nurture trusted relationships across client organizations, including C-level executives and key stakeholders, to influence decision-making and ensure alignment with client needs.
- Collaborate with internal delivery, marketing, and technical teams to develop tailored proposals and financial models that optimize deal structures and support profitable growth.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategy and opportunity identification.
- Drive business development initiatives to expand Wipro’s presence in key accounts and new markets within the Technology Services sector.
- Mentor and lead junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes continuous learning and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with Wipro’s ethical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements in all sales activities.

Required Qualifications & Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; possession of an MBA or advanced business qualification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated success in sales, business development, or consulting within IT Services and Digital Transformation domains.
- Proven capability in handling large, complex, global sales cycles and negotiating multi-million dollar deals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present and articulate complex solutions to diverse audiences.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling effective team leadership, client engagement, and stakeholder management.
- Expertise in sales enablement, pipeline management, deal qualification, and contract drafting and execution.
- In-depth understanding of business process outsourcing, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and emerging technology trends relevant to the professional services industry.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic consulting or professional services environment with a consultative sales approach.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from 200000 to 300000.
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
