Role: London Markets Test Manager

Location: London / UK (Hybrid)
Experience: Senior Test Manager / Test Delivery Lead

Overview

We are seeking a London Markets Test Manager to lead testing across complex specialty insurance platforms as part of the London Market’s Blueprint Two digital transformation. The role focuses on assuring quality across placing, underwriting, delegated authority, and central market services in a highly integrated, multi‑party ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver end‑to‑end test strategy and execution for London Markets programmes.
  • Lead testing across key platforms including PPL, Whitespace, DXC DPS, DDM, and Blueprint Two Digital Spine / Digital Gateway.
  • Manage testing of placing, binding, delegated authority, accounting, settlement, and claims journeys.
  • Coordinate onshore and offshore test teams across functional, integration, and UAT testing.
  • Drive defect management, test reporting, quality metrics, and go‑live readiness.
  • Work closely with brokers, carriers, MGAs, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with market data standards such as ACORD GRLC and Core Data Record (CDR).

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience as a Test Manager / Senior Test Manager in London Markets or Specialty Insurance.
  • Hands‑on experience testing London Market platforms (PPL, Whitespace, DPS, DDM or similar).
  • Proven delivery on large, complex, multi‑vendor programmes.
  • Strong understanding of Blueprint Two and London Market operating models.
  • Experience with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Guidewire, Novidea, Send, or similar commercial lines platforms.
  • Exposure to automation and integration‑heavy testing.
  • Cloud and API‑led architecture experience.
Mandatory Skills: Insurance Testing .
