The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of Cyber security implementation projects like Data Loss Prevention, Privileged Access Management, Endpoint protection, Identity & Access Management, Firewall, Encryption, IDPS or ISMS controls etc. while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within Scope

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • As a Cyber Security Project Manager, you will be advising clients on managing security risks with a particular focus on supporting our client’s digital workforce through strategy and security transformation, Identity and Access Management, Data and Information Management and Resilience and Testing
  • Responsible for managing stakeholders and updating them on project progress
  • On-time delivery of critical milestones associated with the project by ensuring strict execution of scheduled tasks/ Project plan
  • Use continually developed cyber security knowledge to make time critical decisions on the application of policy. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the sectors throughout the client's Cyber Security community and use these relationships to develop our security posture.
  • Raise and facilitate resolution of risks and issues
  • Manage project budget and track costs and benefits for individual initiatives in line with agreed programme, project or business approach
  • Ensure the submission of timely Change Requests (CR’s), where appropriate work with sponsors/key stakeholders to ensure any additional requests for budget and/or resources are raised and costed accordingly
  • Deliver project in a timely, cost efficient manner to a prescribed level of quality
  • Compliance with governance and reporting framework
  • Project team management
  • Ensure TORs are in place for Project team members
  • Identify impacted areas and ensure appropriate resources are made available

Skills Required:

  • Track record within either Infrastructure, Government or Healthcare showing an understanding of the business, threat and issues faced by clients (essential)
  • Hands-on Project Management experience
  • Proven experience of understanding and managing aspects of cyber risk, including the assessment, analysis and reporting of cyber risk in a business context (essential)
  • Proven knowledge and experience of delivering one of more of the following areas: Strategy and Security Transformation, Identity and Access Management (IDAM), Data and Information Management and Resilience & Testing (essential)
  • Proven experience of successfully managing cyber security services ensuring the delivery of high-quality work on time and to budget
  • Proven ability to lead work at sustained levels of high intensity, and inspire drive and resilience in others
  • Proven ability to analyze problems, identify core issues and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Proven ability in taking appropriate action after monitoring/reviewing the progress and performance of other team members
  • Understanding their business challenges and the threats they face.
  • Helping them navigate the increasingly complex cyber security environment
  • Advising on digital and technical aspects of cyber security governance, frameworks, and operating models
  • Helping them optimize their approach to digital and technical cyber security controls and risk management with a particular focus on supporting our clients’ digital workforce through Strategy and Security Transformation, Identity and Access Management (IDAM), Data and Information Management and Resilience & Testing
  • Linking cyber security to other consultancy offerings on risk management, resilience,and IT transformation to provide holistic support to our clients
  • Security qualifications, which may include PMP/Prince2, ISO 27001 LA, AWS/Azure, CISM, CISA and CISS
