Job Description

Unix - Implementation and Maintenance

O FALLON, MO

 

Core responsibilities:

Build repeatable installation, packaging, configuration, deployment, upgrade, rollback, and recovery processes.

Integrate the platform into enterprise CI/CD and release-management controls.

Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, health checks, dashboards, and capacity controls.

Support environment readiness, vulnerability remediation, incident response, and root-cause analysis.

Partner with network, software, automation, testing, and BizOps teams on production readiness.

Document operational procedures and support handoff.

 

Required skills:

  • Deep Linux administration and troubleshooting.
  • Enterprise platform engineering, configuration management, and release engineering.
  • Observability and production-support practices.
  • Scripting and automation, preferably Python or shell.
  • Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical systems.

 

Preferred experience:

  • Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent tooling.
  • Network-service or edge-platform operations.
  • Security scanning, patching, certificate management, and controlled production deployment

 

Mandatory Skills: Unix - Implementation and Maintenance .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
