Job Description
As a Project Manager at Wipro Technologies-USA, you will play a pivotal role in leading our 24x7 Application Support team, ensuring that client needs are met with excellence and professionalism. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, fostering strong relationships and delivering outstanding results through effective management and technical leadership. Your extensive experience, ranging from 13 to 15 years in relevant fields, will be invaluable as you guide your team in providing exceptional application support and ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
In this role, you will demonstrate deep knowledge and understanding of application support, technology management, and team dynamics. You will lead initiatives in deployment and software management within Unix/Linux environments, tackling operational challenges head-on to ensure project success. This includes proactive management of deliverables, risk identification, and resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will also encompass the following:
- Collaborating closely with various departments to resolve delivery challenges effectively.
- Ensuring that our engagement with clients exceeds their expectations, thereby strengthening existing relationships.
- Proactively capturing lessons learned and successful innovations to share best practices with customers and within the team.
- Engaging in pre-sales activities to support business development efforts.
- Providing timely project monitoring and status updates to stakeholders, maintaining transparency and effective communication.
In addition to your project management skills, you will need to excel in operational tasks including:
- Understanding and managing contracts, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and penalty clauses.
- Overseeing account onboarding/offboarding procedures and tracking background verification for personnel.
- Identifying, mitigating, and managing IT risks related to our operations.
- Coordinating customer governance calls and facilitating impactful customer visits in India.
- Demonstrating financial acumen in managing revenue, costs, and overall project financial performance.
- Ensuring timely completion of billing processes and tracking Statements of Work (SOWs) effectively.
Experience: 8-10 Years .
Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
