Site Support/Desktop Engineer

 


Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Support Specialist to provide operational, technical, and administrative support at our site. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in site support or a related field, with a strong ability to troubleshoot issues, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site support for daily operations, including equipment, systems, and personnel needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Coordinate with IT, facilities, and operations teams to ensure timely resolution of site-related problems.
  • Maintain inventory of site equipment and supplies; manage procurement and vendor relationships.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new staff on site protocols and systems.
  • Monitor site compliance with safety, security, and operational standards.
  • Document and report incidents, maintenance needs, and performance metrics.
  • Support project implementation and upgrades at the site level.
  • Act as a liaison between site staff and corporate departments.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in site support, IT support, or operations.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic IT troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with safety and compliance standards relevant to the site.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Knowledge of basic networking and system administration.
  • Project coordination or team leadership experience.
Mandatory Skills: Desktop Support .

 

Experience: 1-3 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $33,000 to $76,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
