Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to resolve, maintain and manage client’s software/ hardware/ network based on the service requests raised from the end-user as per the defined SLA’s ensuring client satisfaction

Position: Jr. Field Support Engineer

 Location: Oneonta, NY & Cooperstown NY

Work Commute:

    • There would be frequent travel between Oneonta & Cooperstown
    • There would be frequent travel to other clinics (max travel 3 hours – one way)
    • Travel would be frequent

Working Hours: 8 * 5 (but should be available for any late night / weekend shift on need basis or any critical downtime).  Any time beyond the weekly 40 hours would be considered as OT.

Job Description:

    • Boxing / unboxing
    • Plug and play networking equipment s (Under supervision of sr network engineers)
    • Capable enough to understand the instruction and follow – unboxing, installation, back-up, etc
    • Rack & stack of networking equipment’s (under supervision). No prior knowledge of device configuration needed
    • Service Now helpdesk knowledge (recommended)
    • Networking to. Desktop support ratio per site would be 2:1
  • Good Communication (as they would be coordinating with end users)
Mandatory Skills: Desktop Support .

 

Experience: 1-3 Years .

 

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $33,000 to $76,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
