Job Description

The Oracle Applications Practice Sales Head - Americas is responsible for driving revenue growth, strategic client engagement, pipeline development, and market expansion for Oracle Cloud Applications across North America and Latin America. The role owns sales strategy, executive client relationships, partner alignment, and large transformation pursuits focused on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, EPM, SCM, HCM, CX, Industry Solutions, and Application Managed Services. Location USA

 

This leader will work closely with Practice, Industry, Alliance, Delivery, and Account Teams to position Oracle-led business transformation programs and achieve multi-year revenue growth objectives.

The ideal candidate is a growth-oriented Oracle Applications sales leader who can combine executive client engagement, Oracle alliance management, industry expertise, and pursuit leadership to consistently deliver multi-million-dollar transformation deals while expanding the Oracle practice footprint across the Americas.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Sales Leadership

  • Own Oracle Applications sales bookings and revenue targets across Americas.
  • Build and execute annual GTM strategy aligned to Oracle and industry priorities.
  • Drive large transformation deals involving Oracle Cloud ERP, HCM, SCM, EPM and CX.
  • Develop proactive pipeline through account mining, whitespace analysis and industry campaigns.
  • Lead strategic pursuits from qualification through contract closure.

Account & Client Management

  • Establish executive relationships with CIOs, CFOs, CHROs, COOs and digital transformation leaders.
  • Position Oracle Cloud as a business transformation platform, not just a technology replacement.
  • Partner with strategic account teams to identify expansion opportunities.
  • Drive executive workshops, value engineering sessions and business case development.

Oracle Alliance Management

  • Build strong relationships with Oracle field sales, regional leadership and partner ecosystem.
  • Achieve co-sell targets and improve partner-sourced pipeline.
  • Jointly develop industry-specific offerings and market campaigns with Oracle.

Practice Development

  • Provide market intelligence and client feedback to Oracle Practice leadership.
  • Support creation of accelerators, offerings, industry solutions and AI-enabled Oracle propositions.
  • Help shape Oracle Cloud service portfolio and managed services offerings.

Deal Governance

  • Own pursuit strategy, win themes, pricing guidance and competitive positioning.
  • Lead deal reviews and executive governance for large opportunities.

Ensure high-quality proposals, RFP responses and solution presentations.

Qualifications and Expectations

  • Sales Experience: $15-$20M revenue / signings target preferred in Oracle engagements, Account Planning, Solution Selling
  • Compensation will be mix of base and incentive results pay (to be paid out quarterly).
  • Experience selling Oracle SAAS/OCI services to BFS, Manufacturing or Utilities industry background.   
  • Significant proven large deal experience, including winning and transitioning the deal to delivery.
  • Education: Masters or MBA preferred
  • Ideally has 15+ years of relevant business experience gained within a large Consulting or SI organizations as either a consultant and/or sales professional, with at least 5 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Must possess deep Oracle cloud experience and be considered as a subject matter expert.
  • Should be educated to Degree and/or Business Administration level or professional equivalent

  • 10+ years selling Oracle Applications solutions.
  • Proven track record managing annual bookings exceeding $50M+.
  • Experience leading large Oracle Cloud transformation pursuits.
  • Strong network within Oracle sales and alliance ecosystem.
  • Experience selling consulting, implementation, AMS and transformation services.

15+ years of enterprise applications sales experience.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $240,000.00  to $375,000.00.

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
