Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. As a System Mapping Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless transitions from current data systems to new systems. Your expertise in data analysis, mapping, and integration will be essential for successful system migrations.

Responsibilities:

Data Mapping and Integration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand existing data systems and their intricacies.

Develop comprehensive data mapping specifications from various sources and file formats.

Execute test scenarios to validate data mappings during system transitions.

Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems.

System Transition Support:

Participate in implementation planning and execution.

Work closely with business stakeholders to identify requirements for data migration.

Investigate data conversions and recommend efficient mapping strategies.

Monitor data source changes and adapt mappings as needed.

 

Data Analysis:

Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns.

Transform raw data into structured information for decision-making.

Provide insights to drive strategic business decisions during system transitions.

Collaboration and Communication:

Engage with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and project managers.

Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to ensure smooth handover of new systems.

Communicate effectively to align expectations and obtain sign-offs.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Proven experience in data analysis, system mapping, and integration.

Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.

Familiarity with logical data design and data conversion practices.

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Experience with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for data exploration.

 

Mandatory Skills: Data & AI Strategic Advisory .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
