  • Hybrid – from Gdańsk/Warsaw, 3 days from the office

Key responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary resource for all PKI infrastructure and enterprise-wide SSL certificate management
  • Act as the organizational expert on hashing algorithms, digital certificates, PKI, PKCS standards, and core data security concepts
  • Design, implement, and support PKI solutions across cloud and on‑prem environments
  • Provide expert guidance on cryptographic concepts, including symmetric and asymmetric encryptionLead or support multiple enterprise‑level PKI implementation projects
  • Offer consultation and recommendations on PKI best practices, balancing operational needs and business risk
  • Manage all aspects of certificate lifecycle processes, including automation and governance
  • Utilize and support Venafi Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools
  • Work as an implementation engineer for Venafi CLM solutions, ensuring full integration and adoption
  • Oversee installation, configuration, and migration of Certificate Authorities (CAs)
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with policies, standards, and CLM requirements
  • Maintain and monitor PKI operational health, security posture, and complianceIdentify and drive process improvements in PKI and cryptographic operations
  • Ensure customer‑focused service delivery and strong client interaction capabilities
  • Translate technical and business requirements into actionable engineering tasks for the team
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project plans related to PKI and CLM initiatives

Skills & Qualifications:

  •  7+ experience with PKI and related areas.
  • Implemented multiple long-term projects in PKI.
  • Knowledge & work experience on Cryptographic and CLM.
  • Venafi, Microsoft (PKI) certification would be a plus.
  • Great customer orientation skills.
  • Client interfacing skills, understanding and translating requirements back to team.
  • Experience of at least 2 PKI implementation in an enterprise environment.  
  • Expert on cryptography concepts – symmetric and Asymmetric.
  • Understanding of Venafi CLM tools.
