POS Analyst
Job description
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of equipment and software upgrades.
- Implement data backup procedures to ensure minimal disruption in case of hardware or software failure.
- Evaluate potential new POS systems by assessing their functionality, compatibility, and scalability against current operational requirements.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address any potential issues through timely identification of configuration errors or hardware malfunctions.
- Work on opening and store closing activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative POS solutions, resulting in improved business processes and user experience.
- Provide exceptional technical support for end-users to minimize downtime during peak business hours.
- Analyze existing systems and databases and recommend enhancements to solve business needs.
- Have knowledge of tools or applications like JIRA or HP ALM, CRM and LOS Prevention, CEF.
- Application testing includes understanding test requirements and validating the function.
Experience: 5-8 Years .
Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
