Care Engineer
Role : Operations Engineer/Care Engineer
JOB Details :- We are primarily looking for a resource with prior knowledge in troubleshooting Packet Core Nodes on Telco Clouds.
EXP Range :- 1 ~ 3 Yrs
- Minimum 1+ years in PACKET CORE nodes troubleshooting/Monitoring ( L1/L2 level )
- Strong Communication skills - Team handling skills - Analytical skills - Presentation skills."
Skills :-
- Candidate should have understanding of the Packet Core Solution./Nodes
- Should have good knowledge of 4G and 5G call flows, and overall understanding of latest technologies in the Telecom space including VOLTE, VoWiFi, loT etc.
- Should have understanding of the Cloud environment and understanding of how EPC solutions can be deployed over cloud.
- Candidate should have prior experience in deploying packet core nodes as Bare Metal Nodes/VNF's/CNF's.
- Prior experience in Linux, VMWare, Dockers & Containers, OpenStack, Openshift
- Working knowledge on Packet Core Nodes SGSN / MME, GGSN/EPG , PCRF /SAPC, ePDG/ WMG , 5G nsa /sa
- Working knowledge on Packet Core Nodes CMG, CMM, NRD will be an added advantage
Roles & Responsibilities :-
- Perform initial troubleshooting, log collection, and basic analysis of Packet Core nodes in 4G/5G environments.
- Monitor network health, alarms, and KPIs, and escalate issues as per defined processes.
- Assist in troubleshooting activities and support RCA preparation under guidance from L2/L3 teams.
- Support live troubleshooting sessions with onsite/offshore teams and assist in coordination between customer and internal teams.
- Handle basic communication for access, approvals, and coordination during troubleshooting activities.
- Perform log validation and post-checks after changes, fixes, or troubleshooting activities.
- Create and update incident/service tickets and track them until closure with support from senior teams.
- Assist in change implementation activities (MOP execution) under supervision.
- Support monitoring and troubleshooting of Packet Core nodes such as SGSN, MME, GGSN/EPG, PCRF/SAPC, ePDG/WMG, and 5G NSA/SA.
- Work with tools like Wireshark and system logs for basic issue identification and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional (onsite/offshore) teams to ensure smooth operations and issue resolution.
- Maintain proper documentation of incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
- Support translation/communication tasks (if required) for coordination with global teams.
- Gain exposure to processes like RCA, change management, and ticketing workflows.
Japanese Proficiency :- Native Level is not mandatory but business level is must.
Bilingual : Business Level English and Japanese.
NOTE :- Candidate will be working with Offhshore and Onsite Resources
Experience: 1-3 Years .
