MSBI Lead Developer role at Wipro Technologies is focused on supporting and enabling seamless process delivery through the effective leadership and technical guidance of Production Specialists. This role is foundational in ensuring daily operational performance, resolving complex technical escalations, and building advanced technical capabilities within the team.

You will be a key contributor to the design, development, and maintenance of ETL solutions, utilizing industry best practices and leading-edge tools. Working within the Data Analytics and AI service line, your technical expertise will empower data pipelines to be robust, accurate, and efficient, impacting critical business insights and decision-making processes.

• Lead and oversee the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of advanced ETL solutions leveraging Microsoft SSIS to meet complex business requirements.
• Develop and optimize complex SSIS packages that facilitate seamless extraction, transformation, and loading of data from varied source systems ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Implement comprehensive error handling, robust logging, auditing mechanisms, and recovery strategies within ETL workflows to ensure operational reliability and data integrity.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure consistent and accurate data delivery across analytics pipelines, fostering data quality standards.
• Mentor and guide Production Specialists, building technical expertise and capacity within the team to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize processes.
• Engage continuously in learning initiatives to evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and best practices in data integration and business intelligence.
• Contribute to creating detailed technical documentation and compliance reports as per organizational and regulatory standards.
• Primary technical proficiency includes SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and Power BI, complemented by knowledge of TSQL and Data Warehousing concepts.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficient expertise in Microsoft SSIS development and deployment, with a solid track record of handling complex data integration projects.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with related Microsoft BI stack components such as SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services), SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), and Power BI for comprehensive data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with TSQL scripting and Data Warehousing concepts to complement ETL processes and ensure data model integrity.
• Experience in troubleshooting performance issues, optimizing packages, and implementing best practices in data processing workflows.
