Job Description

Introduction
We are building a modern Wipro.
As market infrastructure becomes more data-driven, interconnected, and regulation-intensive, capital markets firms are rethinking how data, analytics, and platforms underpin trading, risk, clearing, settlement, and client services. Wipro Consulting partners with global financial institutions to modernize the foundational infrastructure that powers markets—combining deep domain expertise with advanced data, cloud, and AI capabilities.
This role sits at the intersection of capital markets business, technology, and data, shaping how firms consume, govern, analyze, and operationalize market intelligence at scale.

͏

Role Overview
Wipro is seeking a Partner Lead for Capital Markets Infrastructure, Data & Analytics to drive strategy, growth, and delivery across sell-side institutions, market infrastructure providers, exchanges, clearing houses, custodians, and data vendors.
You will lead large-scale transformation initiatives focused on:
•    Market data platforms and analytics
•    Benchmarks, indices, and ratings integration
•    Trading, risk, and surveillance data architectures
•    Exchange connectivity and post-trade processing
•    Reference and master data modernization
This role requires a techno-functional leader—someone equally credible with front-office business leaders, CTOs/CIOs, CDOs, and heads of data & analytics, capable of translating market structure and regulatory imperatives into scalable, resilient technology and data solutions.
Scope of Transformation
You will guide clients from fragmented, vendor-heavy, legacy architectures to cloud-enabled, governed, analytics-driven capital markets platforms, spanning:
•    Market data ingestion, normalization, and distribution
•    Reference data (issuers, instruments, pricing, entities)
•    Benchmarks, indices, ratings, and corporate actions integration
•    Front-office pricing, analytics, and valuation
•    Risk, margin, and capital analytics
•    Trade lifecycle events: execution, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation
•    Regulatory reporting and surveillance
The role sits across front, middle, and back office, with deep exposure to post trade infrastructure and market utilities.

͏

Differentiated Capabilities You Will Shape
You will help build and scale offerings that leverage:
Market Data & Analytics
•    Vendor strategy and rationalization
•    Real-time and historical market data platforms
•    Benchmark, index, and factor analytics enablement
•    Consumption-based, cloud-native market data architectures
Data Platform Modernization
•    Capital markets data lakes / lakehouses
•    Reference and master data governance (golden source, lineage, entitlements)
•    Time-series data platforms for pricing and risk
•    Data quality, controls, and observability frameworks
Trading, Exchange & Post-Trade Infrastructure
•    Exchange connectivity and low-latency architectures
•    Trade capture, enrichment, confirmation, clearing, and settlement
•    Reconciliation, breaks management, and exception processing
•    Collateral, margin, and capital optimization analytics
AI & Advanced Analytics
•    Pricing and valuation analytics
•    Trade surveillance and market abuse detection
•    Risk analytics and stress testing
•    Data-driven regulatory reporting and controls

Key Responsibilities
Thought Leadership & Market Influence
•    Establish Wipro as a leader in capital markets data and infrastructure modernization.
•    Develop POVs on market data strategy, index and benchmark integration, exchange evolution, and post-trade efficiency.
•    Publish frameworks on front-to-back data architectures, regulatory-driven data transformation, and cloud adoption for capital markets.
•    Represent Wipro in industry forums, client roundtables, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.

Revenue Growth & Client Leadership
•    Define and execute a multi-year growth strategy across capital markets infrastructure and data-led transformations.
•    Originate, shape, and close large consulting- and platform-led engagements.
•    Lead complex deal structuring involving data platforms, analytics, integration, and managed services.
•    Build trusted advisory relationships with C-suite, technology, and data leadership at global institutions.

Practice Development & Growth

•    Build and mentor a high-performing team with expertise across capital markets, data engineering, analytics, and platform modernization.
•    Develop repeatable accelerators, reference architectures, and delivery playbooks.
•    Foster a strong engineering–consulting partnership across Wipro’s global delivery model.

Who we are looking for:
Capital Markets & Data Domain Expertise
•    Deep understanding of capital markets structure, including exchanges, trading venues, clearing houses, CCPs, and custodians.
•    Strong experience with market data providers, ratings agencies, benchmarks, and index providers.
•    Hands-on knowledge of post-trade processing, including settlement, reconciliation, collateral, margin, and regulatory reporting.
•    Familiarity with regulatory regimes impacting data and infrastructure (e.g., reporting, transparency, model risk, data governance).

Techno-Functional Leadership
•    Proven ability to bridge business, technology, and data conversations.
•    Strong understanding of modern data architectures, cloud platforms, analytics tooling, and integration patterns.
•    Experience leading large, multi-year transformation initiatives across complex stakeholder groups.
•    Executive presence and credibility with senior leadership.

͏

Growth & Delivery Excellence
•    Track record of building pipelines and winning large-scale, transformation-led engagements.
•    Strong commercial acumen and experience shaping outcome-based and platform-led deals.
•    Ability to scale practices, develop talent, and deliver consistently at enterprise scale.
