Requirements:

  • Someone with minimum 5 years of working experience as a Developer in MES application for Semiconductor Manufacturing Back End Factory, but would like to switch to the role of Business/System Analyst (From developing the application to defining process/system requirement and buying off the application) OR someone in the past 5 years working as a BA in the same field, same industry and would like to continue the same role in this job.
  • Someone who is able to provide rationales on the integration points between MES and EI automation.
  • Someone who is able to correlate application design logic in relation to data model.
  • Someone who is able to read & build SQL statements to perform a business function or query.  
  • Someone who demonstrates ability to articulate ideas in good command of English during presentation or interaction.
  • Someone who demonstrate good commands of English and Malay.
  • Minimum qualification in Bachelor of degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering

Job description:

  • Keep the factory running with minimal unscheduled downtime related to  MES and automation applications
  • Business analyst for MES applications, responsible in business case validation, requirement gathering, functional specs, test cases and scenarios, testing, user buyoff and verification to ensure new enhancements are implemented without causing any quality issue.
  • Change management (CAB) owner for any development or configuration change to implement a new changes/functionality to production floor.
  • Become Tier 2 support on escalation of MES application issues that Tier 1 cannot resolve following the SLA.
  • Produce and review system installation, configuration procedures & troubleshooting documentation to be used by system technician to perform daily tasks. .
  • Setup and review monitoring alerts to ensure system health in terms of uptime, performance & capacity (Diskspace, CPU), and propose for resource capacity planning.
  • Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
  • Identifying the current- and future-state business processes ; Creating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional specifications
  • Facilitating design sessions with the implementation team to define the solution. Helping the business stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support the future.
