Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Specialize in equipment integration and factory automation for Assembly & Test (A&T) operations.
- Collaborate within a diverse team to support factory automation requests, with expertise in gathering user requirements, preparing technical specifications and test cases, conducting ITAT and UAT, submitting and presenting CAB documentation, and performing system configuration and integration.
- Develop Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) for assigned automation applications.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in business processes and system interfaces related to manufacturing operations.
- Support application owners and team members by evaluating information from multiple sources, resolving conflicts, breaking down high-level requirements into detailed insights, and distinguishing between actual and desired user needs.
- Work closely with local and offshore teams, including development teams, to define standardize and harmonize solutions and create detailed design specifications and test cases.
- Leverage strong collaboration skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors (both local and remote) to ensure timely and successful project deliverables.
- Act as a liaison with business users to support and resolve application issues, ensuring system availability and optimal performance.
- Manage critical equipment automation projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Provide day-to-day support for issue resolution, service requests, and ongoing projects.

Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a semiconductor environment.
- Solid understanding of semiconductor assembly and test methodologies.
- Proficient in SECS/GEM applications for machine integration, with hands-on experience in automation integration processes that adhere to SEMI standards, including E5, E10, E30, E37.1, E142, E84, and E87.
- Familiarity with factory messaging services such as Tibco Rendezvous or EMS technology.
- Strong technical background in equipment utilization, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), preventive and unscheduled maintenance, and tool life span management.
- Exposure to semiconductor manufacturing processes including Wafer Test, Assembly, Final Test, and Packing is an advantage.
- Experience with industry-standard tools such as CAMLINE or AMAT product suites is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills with a good command of written and spoken English.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team, and capable of starting tasks with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
