Primary Skill: Application & Infrastructure Monitoring using Dynatrace and Splunk with full‑stack observability and automation

 

Position Summary

"Monitoring Tools Engineer needed to support the client monitoring efforts. Tools engineers are needed to further enhance the current level of monitoring and operational procedures. Resources would be responsible for making sure monitoring tools are installed and configured with correct thresholds and dashboards. Recommends the appropriate monitoring capabilities in support of business process and is responsible for delivery of aligned capabilities across critical business applications. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; providing leadership in the execution of aligned as a team member or as an individual contributor.

 

Looking for an experienced Monitoring Tools Engineer to join the APS Telemetry team. In this role, you will be the technical expert for specific core monitoring tools and work directly with our application production support and application development partners to ensure the proper installation, setting of thresholds and dashboard configuration. You'll be working with industry-leading products, you will experience how you can be a game-changer, enabling applications to have less downtime than ever before.

Rollout of Dynatrace as the strategic monitoring tool across banking applications, replacing AppDynamics.

Host demos, overviews, and training of the monitoring tools for adoption across teams, preparing related materials to support sessions and adoption of tools

Partner with the Production support teams/Engineering teams and assist in configuration of monitoring events/dashboards to maximize the potential and use of monitoring tool.

 

REQUIRED_SKILL:

"Deploy and configure Dynatrace across diverse environments (Windows, Linux, Mainframe).

Onboard applications into Splunk using forwarders, source types, and indexing best practices.

Define and implement tagging strategies, dashboards, and alerting policies for Dynatrace and Splunk.

Enable full-stack monitoring, including APM, infrastructure, logs, and synthetic monitoring.

Implement distributed tracing, anomaly detection, and performance baselining.

Develop scripts and workflows for automated onboarding and configuration using APIs.

Integrate monitoring solutions with ticketing tools for incident management.

Establish retention policies and data governance for logs and metrics.

Document onboarding processes, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.

Partner with application teams, infrastructure, and CIO stakeholders to align monitoring strategies.

Conduct KT sessions and create documentation for team enablement.

Drive reduction in incident MTTR and improve application stability.

Enable proactive monitoring and predictive analytics.

Promote operational excellence and automation across the organization.

 
Mandatory Skills: Dynatrace AIOPS .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
