Salesforce Data Migration System Analyst
Experienced data migration specialist with a proven track record of planning, executing, and managing large-scale data conversion initiatives between legacy applications and Salesforce platforms ( Service Cloud). Adept in designing and implementing end-to-end data migration strategies that ensure data integrity, minimize business disruption, and align with architecture and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze legacy data structures and design accurate mappings to Salesforce objects (Standard and Custom).
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and developers to define migration requirements and validate data transformation logic.
- Create data dictionaries, field mappings, and transformation rules aligned with business processes.
- Support test cycles including mock loads, data validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
- Execute data loads using Salesforce tools (Data Loader, Workbench) and/or ETL platforms (SAPBPT, Validity etc.).
- Conduct root cause analysis for data discrepancies and implement correction processes.
- Maintain documentation for all migration processes and participate in cutover planning and go-live support.

- Data Cleansing Techniques
- Excel Macros , Informatica/SAP BTP/MuleSoft, Validity, Data Loader, Workbench etc.
- SQL, SOQL, Data Modeling
- Complex Object Relationships (Accounts, Opportunities, Custom Objects)
- Legacy System Analysis (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Custom DBs)
- Error Handling, Data Quality Audits, and Reconciliation
Key Achievements:
- Successfully supported data migration for multiple Salesforce deployments involving millions of records with high accuracy and minimal disruption.
- Designed reusable data mapping templates to standardize transformations across multiple legacy systems.
- Delivered mock loads and validation cycles across Full Copy and Partial Copy Sandboxes ensuring smooth production cutover.
- Collaborated with business SMEs, Salesforce architects, and compliance teams to ensure all regulatory and audit requirements were met.
- Played a key role in data migration testing strategy, including full cycle mock runs and cutover readiness.
Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $80,000 to $1,35,000 .
