Job Description

Pay: $60K per year

Hours: Monday-Friday (various shift times start early as 7:30am EST and end as late as 8:30pm EST)

The Shift Lead provides on-the-ground supervisory oversight for a team of Data Operators during their assigned shift. This role serves as the primary communication link between the Wipro operations team and the client Site Manager, ensuring seamless execution of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Supervision: Lead and coordinate a team of 4–6 Data Operators per shift, ensuring all stations are covered and personal targets are met.
  • Apple DRI Communication: Maintain direct, frequent communication with the Apple Site Manager and DRI, especially for protocol changes at the San Jose experimental hub.
  • SOP Enforcement: Ensure all operators are trained on and adhering to the latest Apple-defined SOPs; cascade updates in real- me.
  • Safety Oversight: Verify that daily EH&S laser safety tests are completed and logged per the approved checklist.
  • Participant Flow Management: Manage daily scheduling, ensuring steady throughput

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, team leadership, or supervisory roles.
  • Proven ability to manage small teams in fast-paced, process-driven environments.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing SOPs and communicate updates effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a classified, ARPA, or high-security work environment.
  • Familiarity with EH&S protocols, laser safety, or hardware testing operations. 

 

Mandatory Skills: Geographic Information Systems(Maps) .

 

Experience: 3-5 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $45,000 to $121,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
