Core Python Skills

  • Strong grasp of Python syntax and semantics: Variables, data types, loops, conditionals, functions, and classes.
  • Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Understanding inheritance, encapsulation, and polymorphism.
  • Exception handling: Writing robust code with try-except blocks.
  • File handling: Reading/writing files using built-in methods and context managers.

Frameworks & Libraries

  • Web Development: Flask, Django, FastAPI for building scalable web apps.
  • Data Science & ML: Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
  • GUI Development: Tkinter, PyQt, Kivy for desktop applications.
  • Automation & Scripting: Selenium, BeautifulSoup, Requests for web scraping and task automation.

Database & API Skills

  • SQL and NoSQL: Working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
  • ORMs: SQLAlchemy, Django ORM for database abstraction.
  • RESTful APIs: Creating and consuming APIs using Flask/Django REST framework.

Testing & Debugging

  • Unit testing: Using unittest, pytest, and mock libraries.
  • Debugging tools: PDB, logging module, IDE-integrated debuggers.

Deployment & DevOps

  • Version control: Git and GitHub for collaboration and code management.
  • CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployment.
  • Containerization: Docker for packaging applications.
  • Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP for hosting and scaling apps.

Soft Skills & Best Practices

  • Problem-solving mindset: Ability to break down complex problems and design efficient solutions.

Experience: 8-10 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
