Job Description
The Physical Security Engineer/Technical Consultant (PSETC) will provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and hands-on expertise to help the customer design, assess, and standardize its physical security systems.
The PSETC will work closely with the Physical Security Project Manager to:
- Align program execution with technical standards;
- Ensure deployments are both operationally feasible and architecturally sound; and Provide customer with confidence that its physical security program is scalable, standardized, and future-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate customer's current physical security architecture, including:
- Access control platforms (e.g., CCure/Phoenix direction),
- Video surveillance systems (e.g., Axis), and
- Door hardware, sensors, and supporting infrastructure.
- Assist in defining global physical security standards, including:
- Reference architectures,
- Technology stack alignment, and
- Design principles for scalability and resiliency.
- Identify known gaps, limitations, or risks in current platform selections and recommend mitigations or improvements where appropriate.
- Support assessments of:
- Legacy customer locations to determine standardization needs and
- Legacy customer locations to identify upgrade, replacement, or remediation requirements.
- Review existing site conditions, system configurations, and integration points.
- Provide technical input into prioritization and remediation strategies.
- Review construction and design documents to ensure physical security requirements are incorporated early.
- Provide technical guidance to ensure consistency across new locations globally.
- Support integration planning between physical security systems and the following:
- Enterprise networks,
- Identity and access management processes, and
- Human Resources systems for employee lifecycle events.
- Validate that physical security designs align with IT security, network, and compliance requirements.
- Provide technical review of vendor designs, proposals, and implementation approaches.
- Validate that integrator solutions meet customer’s standards and architectural requirements.
- Assist in troubleshooting complex technical issues during deployment.
- Provide remote design reviews, architecture validation, and technical advisory support.
- Support customer’s internal technical lead who is actively working on system design.

Experience: 8-10 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
