Job Description: Cisco Security Partnership Lead – UK & Europe

Role Overview

The Cisco Security Partnership Lead for North America is responsible for driving growth, alignment, and execution across Cisco’s security portfolio within the reseller ecosystem. This role focuses on expanding market share for Cisco’s security solutions, strengthening relationships with Cisco’s security leadership and channel teams, and enabling field sellers and partners to accelerate joint opportunities. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Cisco’s security products, partner programs, and co‑sell motions, with a strong ability to influence technical and commercial stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Security Portfolio Leadership

• Serve as the regional expert on Cisco’s security offerings, including firewalls, XDR, SASE, Zero Trust, Duo, Umbrella, Secure Firewall, and Talos‑powered threat intelligence.
• Translate Cisco’s security roadmap into actionable GTM plays for internal teams and reseller partners.
• Identify high‑growth security segments and drive targeted initiatives to expand adoption.

Channel & Reseller Engagement

• Build strong relationships with Cisco’s security channel leadership, PSS teams, and partner account managers.
• Support resellers in positioning, bundling, and selling Cisco security solutions effectively.
• Guide partners through Cisco security incentives, rebates, deal registration, and MSSP‑aligned programs.

Pipeline & Revenue Acceleration

• Drive joint pipeline creation through account mapping, co‑selling, and targeted security campaigns.
• Track and forecast security‑specific revenue performance, ensuring visibility into key opportunities.
• Collaborate with Cisco’s field security specialists to accelerate deal progression and remove blockers.

Go‑to‑Market & Enablement

• Develop security‑focused value propositions, competitive positioning, and field‑ready sales assets.
• Enable internal sales teams and reseller partners on Cisco’s security programs, pricing models, and technical differentiators.
• Partner with marketing to execute security‑focused events, workshops, and demand‑generation activities.

Operational & Program Excellence

• Manage participation in Cisco’s security‑specific partner programs, certifications, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure operational rigor across deal registration, co‑sell processes, and partner governance.
• Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with Cisco’s security leadership and key reseller partners.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with sales, engineering, delivery, and product teams to ensure alignment on security strategy.
• Provide insights on Cisco’s competitive landscape, pricing trends, and evolving threat environment.
• Serve as the internal SME for Cisco’s security ecosystem, programs, and GTM motions.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in security alliances, channel management, cybersecurity sales, or partner development.
• Strong understanding of Cisco’s security portfolio, partner programs, and security GTM motions.
• Proven track record of driving security revenue through reseller or MSSP channels.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive‑level relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree required; cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CCNP Security, CCIE Security, CISSP) are a plus.

Preferred Attributes

• Existing relationships with Cisco’s security leadership, PSS teams, or top security resellers.
• Experience with SASE, XDR, Zero Trust, and cloud‑delivered
