The SAP Practice is looking for a Sales Director to be based in Sydney/ Melbourne covering all the industry verticals as well as other assigned accounts in the territory.

The candidate will be responsible for:

 

  • Growing the SAP consulting/ services business in the targeted market segment. Will be measured on order booking and revenue of the SAP consulting/ services business
  • Proactively engage in consultative selling, ability to convert business challenges into IT enablement solutions especially with a Hunting mindset to acquire new clients in this space
  • Formulating solutions to meet the unique business needs of clients and effectively position the same
  • Ability to manage CXO level relationship, strong business acumen and customer relationship management skills
  • Work effectively with offshore based pre-sales team in shaping the value proposition, consulting, RFP/RFI responses, solutions and presentations
  • Lead generation working with alliances, marketing, analysts and through professional network
  • Communicating best practices to the client and acting as a trusted advisor

 

The candidate will need to have:

 

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the consulting or professional services industry around the SAP applications and technology platforms. Exposure to the latest SAP suite of products – S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Applications, LOB solutions like Successfactors and Ariba. Platform Migrations, Modernization concepts and AMS is preferred
  • Strong technical/ functional skills
  • Strong track record of sales target achievement
  • Experience in managing customer relationships and leading these relationships to multi-million dollar engagements
  • Candidates with a professional customer network across industry verticals would be preferred
  • Exposure to a global delivery model
  • Business Management qualification preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a matrix organization

- Any undergraduate degree, although an MBA is preferred

- Drive end-to-end sales until closure, proposal management, or project-based work experience with large deals; at least 8 years of relevant expertise in IT Services & Consulting.

- Written and verbal fluency in English

- Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.

- Proven sales, sales enablement, and negotiation skills, as well as familiarity with design thinking fundamentals, pipeline management, deal qualification, competitive positioning, client relationship strategy, deal shaping, and financial modelling, contract drafting and management.

- Good knowledge of business process outsourcing, application development, cloud computing, security, as well as other technology platforms and aspects.

- Work experience in the professional services sector.

- Working knowledge of multifaceted, multimillion-dollar prospects that are large, global, and complex.
