Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Network and Security Engineer (L4) with strong expertise in
cloud infrastructure, network security, and extensive hands-on experience in Palo Alto firewalls. The
ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud and
hybrid network environments to support business objectives while ensuring compliance with security
standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud network security architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls and security appliances.
- Develop and enforce security policies and best practices across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk analysis.
- Manage VPNs, NAT, routing, IPsec tunnels, and SSL decryption on Palo Alto devices.
- Integrate firewall solutions with SIEM, SOAR, and monitoring tools.
- Work closely with DevOps and Cloud teams to ensure secure deployment pipelines.
- Implement and manage Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) strategies.
- Create and maintain network diagrams, documentation, and SOPs.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reporting

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in network and security engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks (PAN-OS, Panorama).
- Experience with cloud-native networking and security services (AWS Security Groups, Azure
NSGs, etc.).
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and BGP.
- Familiarity with cloud security frameworks like CIS, NIST, or ISO 27001.
- Knowledge of automation/scripting (Python, Terraform, Ansible) is a plus.
- Professional certifications like PCNSE, CCNP Security, AWS/Azure Security, or similar preferred.

Preferred Certifications:
- PCNSE (Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer)
- AWS Certified Security - Specialty / Azure Security Engineer Associate
- CISSP / CCSP (optional but desirable)
