Job Description

The Data Lead for SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) is responsible for defining and executing the end-to-end data strategy across SAP SuccessFactors EC and SAP ECC/S/4HANA environments. This role oversees data governance, migration, and replication, ensuring accurate, secure, and timely data synchronization through tools such as Infoporter and Business Integration Builder (BIB).

The Data Lead ensures alignment with HR business processes, regulatory compliance, and SAP best practices while maintaining high data quality and integrity across systems.

Acting as the primary authority for HR master data, this role leads integration design, drives data readiness for cutover, and supports post-go-live stabilization in complex, highly integrated SAP/SuccessFactors landscapes.

Essential Functions

Provide leadership and accountability for HR data integrity, integration, and readiness across SuccessFactors EC and connected systems. Ensure high-quality, compliant data supports business operations throughout the employee lifecycle, including cutover and post-go-live stabilization.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Data Strategy & Governance

  • Define HR data strategy for EC programs integrated with SAP ECC/S/4HANA
  • Establish data governance, ownership, validation rules, and audit controls
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements

Data Migration & Transformation

  • Lead data assessment, cleansing, transformation, and validation
  • Manage core data objects (Foundation, MDF, EC HR data, historical data)
  • Oversee mock loads, reconciliations, and production data migration

Integration & Replication

  • Design and oversee bi-directional data replication between EC and SAP systems
  • Utilize Infoporter and BIB to support data extraction, transformation, and integration frameworks
  • Ensure accurate data flow across employee, organizational, and compensation data

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP HCM and SuccessFactors, with deep expertise in Employee Central and integration with SAP ECC/S/4HANA
  • Strong understanding of HR master data structures, effective dating, and organizational hierarchies
  • Proven experience leading data migration and replication workstreams in large-scale or multi-country implementations
  • Hands-on expertise in employee and organizational data replication, including initial load and delta replication processes
  • Experience with SAP HR data integration tools such as Infoporter and Business Integration Builder (BIB), with solid knowledge of APIs, IDocs, and middleware concepts
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification and/or relevant degree preferred

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI alongside Infoporter 

  • Payroll or Finance integration exposure 

  • Prior EC-to-S/4HANA Brownfield or Hybrid migration experience

Mandatory Skills: SAP HCM Payroll - US .

 

Experience: 8-10 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
