Job Description

Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Techno-Functional Consultant who can act as the bridge between business stakeholders, clients, and the technical delivery team. The consultant will be responsible for understanding end-to-end business processes, driving requirement discussions, translating business needs into actionable user stories, and ensuring successful delivery of solutions aligned with client expectations.

Stakeholder and Client Management

  • Conduct requirement-gathering workshops and discussions with business stakeholders and clients.
  • Drive alignment sessions to clarify business expectations, requirements, priorities, and solution approaches.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between business users and delivery teams.
  • Provide recommendations and process improvements based on business needs and system capabilities.
  • Facilitate decision-making discussions and obtain stakeholder sign-offs.

Business and Functional Analysis

  • Develop a deep understanding of the application landscape and end-to-end business processes.
  • Analyze existing workflows, identify gaps, and recommend optimal solutions.
  • Create detailed functional specifications, business requirements documents, process flows, and use cases.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure complete traceability from business requirements through delivery.

Agile Delivery and Team Coordination

  • Create and maintain product backlog items and user stories.
  • Lead story grooming, backlog refinement, and requirement walkthrough sessions with development and testing teams.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, testers, architects, and product owners throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Support sprint planning, reviews, and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Clarify business requirements and respond to team queries during development and testing.

Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the application and associated business processes.
  • Provide functional guidance to team members and support issue resolution.
  • Ensure deliverables meet business expectations and quality standards.
  • Support go-live activities, production support, and post-implementation stabilization.

Desired Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Functional Consulting, or Techno-Functional roles.
  • Experience working directly with clients and business stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and enterprise applications.
  • Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive consensus.
