Manager – Supply Chain Strategy

Work Location:

Bangalore (Work from Office)

Shift & Flexibility:

6:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST
Weekend flexibility may be required

Experience:

  • Minimum 8+ years
  • BPO / Non-BPO experience acceptable

Industry Domain:

Supply Chain / Logistics

 

Must-Have Skills:

  • Proficiency in supply chain network optimization (warehouse, route, 3PL/4PL scalability & optimization)
  • Proven experience in supply chain network design principles, including optimization and simulation
  • Hands-on experience with supply chain modeling software (LLamasoft / Coupa tools like Supply Chain Modeler or Supply Chain Guru)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Netsuite ERP & SCALE WMS
  • Understanding of transportation modes (road, rail, air, sea)
  • Familiarity with logistics software and tools (TMS, WMS, ERP systems)
  • Knowledge of warehouse and inventory management
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Exposure to Looker (BI platform) & Manhattan TMS
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to solve routine problems using structured approaches
  • Professional communication and rapport-building skills

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cost optimization initiatives across logistics, transportation, and warehousing
  • Build business cases and track savings, service levels, and cost metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain execution with strategic goals
  • Drive budgeting and variance analysis with supply chain leadership
  • Monitor KPIs like OTIF, freight spend, and warehouse productivity
  • Design, build, and maintain supply chain network models using LLamasoft/Coupa software
  • Use analytics tools (SQL, BI) for demand forecasting and resource optimization
  • Collect, validate, and analyse large datasets for network modelling
  • Run “what-if” scenarios to evaluate potential changes and improvements
  • Communicate findings and recommendations through presentations and reports
  • Identify and mitigate risks impacting cost, scope, or timeline
  • Stay updated with supply chain best practices and technologies

 

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Supply Chain Management certifications
  • Operations Research certifications
