Job Description

Purpose:The Production Technology Deployment specialist will be responsible for imaging and configuration of hardware and software solutions for Apple TV+ original productions. This role is responsible for configuring full range of Apple devices using device management tools in addition to the set up of other nonApple devices such as external hard drives and conferencing solutions. This role will ensure that returned devices are set up for re-deployment prior to being returned to inventory. 

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize support ticket management software (Zendesk) to ingest hardware requests, track work and communicate with requestors, engineers and Help Desk

• Image and configure devices for deployment to Productions

• Mac, iPad, iPhone, Vision Pro through tools including JAMF, Apple Configurator

• Hard drives, conferencing solutions, networking solutions and more

• Troubleshoot issues related to configuration and deployment

• Maintain inventory through asset management tool Oomnitza

• Work with internal teams and productions on wrap procedure. Including physical inventory reclaim at production studios, prepping hardware for return to Apple office, and related logistic arrangements.

• Prepare returned assets for re-deployment prior to returning them to inventory by ensuring they are serviced and all data has been removed

• Work with internal and external logistic partners to facilitate incoming and outgoing shipment of production assets

• Maintain close relationships with the Apple TV+ physical production and other IS&T departments

• Manage device lifecycle by analysing inventory and working with management on hardware procurement, retirement and reuse as per internal policies.

• Collaborate with deployment teams in US on best practices, new policy and procedures and ensuring high standards of service.
