Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in vendor management and a deep understanding of the gaming industry. This role involves overseeing end-to-end project execution, coordinating with third-party vendors, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality gaming products and services. The ideal candidate has exceptional communication skills, a proven track record of managing complex vendor relationships, and a passion for gaming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for gaming projects.
- Track progress against project plans, manage risks, and drive project execution to meet milestones and deadlines.
- Vendor Management:
- Coordinate with multiple vendors to ensure alignment with project requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
- Track and monitor project deliverables from different vendors, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, facilitating clear and effective communication on project expectations, updates, and potential challenges.
- Conduct regular check-ins and status reviews with vendors to assess progress and resolve issues proactively.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between internal teams (design, development, marketing) and external vendors to ensure project alignment.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication across all parties involved to ensure everyone is informed on project progress, challenges, and changes.
- Quality Control & Compliance:
- Implement quality control procedures to ensure gaming products meet established standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct periodic vendor audits and ensure vendors adhere to contractual obligations and gaming industry regulations.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks associated with vendor performance and project delivery.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Game Development, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the gaming industry.
- Proven experience in vendor management, including vendor selection, negotiation, and performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of gaming industry standards, production processes, and emerging trends.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, CAPM) or Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with game development cycles and associated tools (e.g., C++,SQL Server).
- Experience managing vendors across international locations.

| Scope, Schedule, and Configuration Management | Review key project deliverables prepared by the team to ensure alignment with client expectations, quality standards, and contractual SLAs. Provide feedback, guide technical leads in implementing improvements. Create weekly and monthly MIS reports for single LOB to track operational, quality, and fulfilment parameters. Escalate deviations from project charter promptly and ensure corrective actions to maintain compliance. |
| Resource/Team Management | Undertake resource planning, allocation in line with project needs and manage attrition and performance outcomes. Conduct performance appraisals and guide team members on professional growth and improvement. |

| Quality & Risk Management | Proactively identify and assess potential project risks or issues, implement mitigation methods, and collaborate with quality assurance teams to integrate quality planning into project execution. |
| Engagement Economics | Create project estimates in line with project scope, approach, milestones and manage change requests |
| Pursuit Management | Assist in preparing proposals and estimates for upcoming engagements within one LOB. |
| Stakeholder Management | Collaborate with technical teams and client Directors for sprint planning, delivery issues and project updates. Conduct regular cadence with Workforce Management Group and Quality Assurance teams to ensure resource fulfilment and quality adherence. |

Experience: 8-10 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
