Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to lead and develop the user interface of a product/ application as per the customerâÂÂs/ business requirement

Do
- Lead Design and Development of UI for a Product
- Understand the requirements from UX Designer and the prototype which is created and implement the latest technology to create a static design
- Collaborate with Business Analyst & Product Manager for a better understanding of functional requirements, analysis, design document
- Collaborate with the UI developers on implementing new features and business requirements in Agile Methodology
- Develop working prototypes from UI designs for cross-platform devices
- Assist and direct UI team to attain the project requirement
- Develop and maintains the new and existing product's screens by utilizing different technologies in creating component based responsive design
- Ensure heavy use of Chrome Developer Tools + Firebug to ensure front-end code and assets were optimized and of high-quality
- Lead and direct UI team of user experience designers, UI software engineers and graphic designers

- Capability Development and Talent Pipeline Creation
- Manage and mentor a team of database developers, keeping them challenged and focussed
- Integrate best practices through competency development, multiskilling and mandatory training compliance for the target population
- Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
- Enable team member's knowledge sharing across teams and best practices

- Ensure 100% compliance to WiproâÂÂs standards of adequate onboarding and training for team members to enhance capability & effectiveness
- Build an internal talent pool of HiPos and ensure their career progression within the organization
- Performance Management
- Set goals for direct reportees, conduct timely performance reviews and appraisals, and give constructive feedback to direct reports.
- Incase of performance issues, take necessary action with zero tolerance for âÂÂwillâ based performance issues
- Ensure that organizational programs like Performance Nxt are well understood and that the team is taking the opportunities presented by such programs to their and their levels below

- Lead and drive engagement initiatives for the team
- Track team satisfaction scores and identify initiatives to build engagement within the team
