Detailed Job Description: AWS engineer / IaC / Devops

 

Role/Purpose:

  1. Infrastructure automation and Engineering skills
  2. Technically sound in DevOps technologies and working experience in Agile methodology
  3. Experience of working in a large enterprise of our scale and complexity

Essential technical skills:

  1. Experience in AWS cloud with associate or professional certification. I.e. IAAS, PAAS knowledge is a must
  2. Experience with CI/CD e.g. Jenkins
  3. Strong working experience in infrastructure automation through ‘Infrastructure as a Code’
  4. Strong experience with endpoint automation tools.
  5. Strong experience with common scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, Python, Powershell
  6. Strong working experience in DevOps tools e.g. GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins
  7. Experience with RESTful API & AWS SDK
  8. Strong Automation/Orchestration experience with Ansible, AWS
  9. Strong experience on AWS Logwatch, Cloudtrail for diagnosis & monitoring
  10. Good understanding in Database, Platform, Networking, Middleware domain and products.
  11. Strong knowledge and awareness with Security aspects, compliance, vulnerability
  12. Good knowledge on Additional Cloud Provider (e.g. Azure, Google) are added skillset
