Job Description

Cloud and DevOps Engineer - Required Skills

 

  • 8+ years of DevOps experience with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Azure DevOps, AKS, Azure Web Apps, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm; Azure certifications such as AZ-400 or AZ-104 preferred.
  • Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, and Jenkins to automate build, test, security scan, and deployment workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and ARM templates to deliver secure, repeatable, and compliant cloud deployments.
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix commands, Shell scripting, PowerShell, and Ansible for configuration management and operational automation across Linux and Windows environments.
  • Experience deploying Java applications using Maven, along with working knowledge of certificate management, authentication mechanisms, and database operations such as backup, restore, and PITR.
  • Experience implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, secrets management, RBAC/IAM, vulnerability scanning, and basic cloud cost optimization using tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Git workflows, branching strategies, cloud security, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration with developers and SRE teams to improve release reliability and system stability.

 

Good to have (Preferred, Not Mandatory)

  • Understanding of case management and BPMN tools
  • Understanding of agile delivery methodologies
