Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Azure DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) deployment to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and container orchestration. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and efficient AKS-based solutions while ensuring seamless CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters to support scalable and reliable application deployments.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate application builds, testing, and deployments.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep for provisioning and managing Azure resources.
  • Monitor and optimize AKS clusters for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of AKS deployments, including role-based access control (RBAC), network policies, and secrets management.
  • Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications using Docker and deploy them to AKS.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AKS, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions for AKS and other Azure resources using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure and Kubernetes features, best practices, and industry trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Azure cloud services.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) deployment, management, and optimization.
  • Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, particularly Azure DevOps (pipelines, repositories, artifacts).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VNETs, subnets, load balancers, and DNS.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), RBAC, and secrets management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
  • Knowledge of database management and integration with AKS (e.g., Azure SQL, Cosmos DB).
  • Experience with Helm for Kubernetes package management.
