| Role Purpose | The Cyber Security Analyst L4 is a key position within Wipro Technologies’ Technology Services division, dedicated to protecting the organization's vital information assets and infrastructure. This role focuses on detecting and analyzing sophisticated cyber threats, developing and coordinating incident response efforts, enhancing monitoring systems, and ensuring strict adherence to regulatory and audit requirements. The analyst will also play a central role in disaster recovery planning and execution to maintain business continuity and resilience. This position requires a strategic mindset combined with hands-on technical expertise to safeguard against evolving cyber risks while supporting compliance with global security standards. |
Working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, the analyst acts as an essential component in Wipro’s cyber defense strategy, driving proactive threat identification, rapid incident containment, and effective mitigation measures. Areas of Responsibility
| Monitoring and Incident Detection | Leverage advanced analytics to examine attack trends and correlate logs from multiple systems and platforms. Continually fine-tune monitoring mechanisms to enhance the speed and accuracy of threat detection. Proactively identify anomalous activities and potential vulnerabilities to maintain compliance with a broad spectrum of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and regulatory mandates pertinent to cloud and enterprise environments. |
| Incident Handling and Analysis | Lead comprehensive root cause analyses to understand security incident origins and impact. Develop detailed incident response plans and coordinate their implementation to limit business disruption. Collaborate with IT and business operations to execute disaster recovery procedures effectively, ensuring rapid restoration of services and data integrity. |

| Threat Assessment and Analytics | Conduct in-depth forensic analysis using state-of-the-art tools including SPLUNK Security Analytics and other threat intelligence platforms. Assess the nature of threats, potential impact, and recommend mitigation strategies tailored to organizational risk profiles. Maintain vigilance on emerging cyber threat trends and compliance requirements to inform risk management decisions. |
| Stakeholder Coordination and Audit Assistance | Serve as the liaison between internal security teams, external vendors, and audit bodies to uphold security standards. Manage and update audit documentation meticulously, ensuring readiness for both scheduled and surprise audits. Implement continuous improvement processes to support audit compliance and cultivate a culture of security excellence across the enterprise. |
| Training and Awareness | Design and deliver engaging cybersecurity awareness programs geared toward increasing organizational resilience. Educate employees on recognizing phishing attempts, handling malicious emails, and adhering to security best practices, thus fostering a security-conscious workforce aligned with corporate policies. |

Experience: Candidates should possess between 5 to 8 years of progressive experience working in cybersecurity roles, demonstrating expertise in incident detection, response, forensic analysis, and audit compliance.
