Overview:

We are seeking an experienced D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Finance Functional Lead to join Wipro Technologies within the Technology Services sector. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with 10-15 years of extensive experience in AX Finance functional areas and a strong track record of leading end-to-end implementations. The successful candidate will drive financial functional design, configuration, and execution on complex projects, acting as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of finance solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple phases of Microsoft Dynamics AX and D365 F&O finance module implementations including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, development, testing, training, and deployment.
• Provide expert functional guidance and support in areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cash and Bank Management, and Project Accounting.
• Develop comprehensive project artifacts including Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Functional Design Documents (FDD), user guides, and fit-gap analysis documents ensuring clarity and alignment with client expectations.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including technical consultants, developers, testers, and project managers to ensure high quality and timely delivery of finance solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams to resolve complex functional challenges and drive strategic improvements within the finance domain.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices, and updates in Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations applications to continuously enhance service offerings and client satisfaction.
• Actively participate in knowledge sharing sessions and contribute to the development of internal training materials and process improvements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of comprehensive experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX Finance functional roles with at least 3 complete end-to-end implementations.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on expertise across core finance modules, including General Ledger, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cash and Bank Management, Project Accounting, and Chart of Accounts configuration.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality documentation aligned to project lifecycles and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering cost-effective and innovative finance solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in dynamic, multidisciplinary teams and manage complex project demands.
