Job Description: 

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design Support

  • Support senior architects in designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones aligned to Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
  • Assist in defining subscription structures, management groups, network topologies (Hub-Spoke), and identity models.
  • Contribute to high availability, backup, and disaster recovery designs under guidance.
  • Assist with application and infrastructure migration activities (rehost, replatform, refactor) following defined patterns and runbooks.
  • Document architecture decisions, diagrams, and standards (HLD/LLD support).

 

Delivery & Engineering

  • Support Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) development using Terraform / ARM / Bicep.
  • Assist in implementing Azure Policies, role-based access control (RBAC), and baseline security configurations.
  • Participate in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Help maintain golden templates, reusable modules, and configuration standards.
  • Support platform services such as AKS, Azure App Services, Storage, and Azure SQL.

 

Security, Operations & FinOps

  • Assist in implementing security-by-design controls including:
    • Azure Defender
    • Azure Key Vault
    • Network Security Groups (NSGs)
    • Private Endpoints
  • Support monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Help track cost management activities: tagging, basic cost analysis, and reporting.
  • Participate in operational readiness activities including runbooks, DR drills, and incident reviews.

Collaboration & Learning

  • Work closely with application teams, DevOps engineers, security teams, and senior architects.
  • Participate in design reviews and architecture forums as an observer/contributor.
  • Continuously build knowledge across Azure services, cloud security, networking, and platform engineering.
  • Demonstrate a strong learning mindset and actively pursue certifications and hands-on experience.
Mandatory Skills: Enterprise Architecting .
