Position: Gen AI Architect (Enterprise Architect Level 0)

Wipro Technologies is seeking a skilled and visionary Gen AI Architect to join our Technology Services team, driving innovative Artificial Intelligence solutions that transform business processes and empower our clients in their digital transformation journey. About the Role

As a Gen AI Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced generative AI (GenAI) architectures to meet strategic business goals. You will establish reference frameworks and technology standards for deploying Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, and AI Agents on cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex business challenges into effective AI solutions, providing technical leadership and ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

This role calls for an experienced enterprise architect with substantial expertise in AI, machine learning, and cloud architectures, along with a strong commitment to ethical AI deployment and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop architectural blueprints and reference architectures for GenAI solutions, setting technology standards that enable scalable and secure deployment of LLMs, RAG systems, and autonomous AI Agents.
  • Build and deliver proof-of-concept models and prototypes to validate new AI ideas and accelerate solution development cycles.
  • Architect and implement GenAI solutions on leading cloud platforms, applying performance and cost optimization techniques to maximize value.
  • Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust AI architectures.
  • Lead the technical direction of AI projects, ensuring solutions meet security, privacy, and regulatory standards, instituting AI guardrails and compliance frameworks.
  • Continuous learning and research to keep abreast of emerging Artificial Intelligence trends, tools, and methodologies, integrating new innovations into the company’s AI roadmap.

Skills and Experience Required

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in AI/ML and enterprise cloud architecture with proven contributions to GenAI projects from concept to production.
  • Strong expertise in deploying AI applications into production environments, with a focus on monitoring, reliability engineering, and iterative improvement.
  • Proficient in enterprise-level architectural design frameworks with mandatory competency in enterprise architecting.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud AI services across AWS, Azure, or GCP, including containerization and orchestration technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agentic AI concepts and tools such as GitHub Copilot and Copilot Studio.
  • Solid background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and their application within large-scale AI systems.
  • Experience with microservices architectures, APIs, and DevOps tooling including Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Terraform.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence technical decisions in complex environments.
