Role : An experienced individual who has held full ownership of — administering, driving adoption, and implementing standards and best practices across GitLab, GitHub Enterprise, Artifactory, Jira, and Confluence.

Overview of Cross-Tool Responsibilities 

Full lifecycle admin — install, configure, upgrade, patch, and monitor health.Define/enforce best practices, drive adoption via onboarding, training, and documentation.Manage RBAC, SSO/LDAP integration, and audit compliance.Integrate tools into CI/CD, support as L1/L2/L3 escalation point. GitLab: Admin & configure instance/runners; manage groups, permissions, protected branches, and CI/CD pipelines.

GitHub Enterprise: Manage orgs, repos, teams, and access; govern GitHub Actions workflows, branch protection, and security policies.

Artifactory : Set up repositories (local/remote/virtual); define storage, retention & promotion policies; integrate with CI/CD.Jira                 : Administer projects, workflows, schemes, and permissions; customise boards, automation, and dashboards.

Confluence : Manage spaces, permissions, and templates; govern documentation standards and Jira–Confluence integration.

Team Management Collaborate with team members to resolve open tickets and service requests.
Knowledge base and continuous learning Contribute to updating SOPs, knowledge articles and maintaining the knowledge repository for the purpose of future ticket resolution.

Experience: 5-8 Years .
