Job Description

Essential Skill

 Experience in infrastructure architecture ideally within a large enterprise environment

•Extensive knowledge and applying infrastructure principles associated with IT infrastructure, networks, multi-cloud environments

•Proven experience in successful architecting and leading the implementation of infrastructure architectures into production

•Proven solution architecture and design experience in cloud & security architecture in Aws & Azure cloud platform

•Technically proficient in cloud environments AWS, Azure, private cloud (vmware)

•Technically proficient in cloud environments WAF, Firewall, IPS, Flow Control, Logging, WAN and Data centre networking technologies, hyperconverged, traditional 3 tier compute, storage & network, Containers & Kubernetes, network firewall, routers, switching

•Experience in strategic planning, roadmap development and infrastructure pattern development

•Proven experience in managing and assigning development/ features across an integrated AGILE and Waterfall development environment

•Strong communication skills and stakeholder management

•Certification in AWS and/or Azure (preferred)

•Good understanding of architecture standards such as TOGAF and SABSA
