 Oracle + Exadata (Mandatory)

Oracle Database Administrator

    • Install, configure, upgrade, and manage Oracle RDBMS e.g. 10, 11g, 12c.
    • Strong Experience in managing large databases, Oracle partitioning, Data warehouse experience is a must
    • Perform periodic database maintenance, monitoring and performance tuning.
    • Proficient in backup & restore methodologies, Tuning databases, refreshes, Reorgs and script writing.
    • Apply Oracle-related patches Proficient in managing RAC cluster and DataGuard databases.
    • Manage Oracle clusters as well as environments containing replication.
    • Provide system administration staff with requirements for Oracle host machines.
    • Coordinate with various teams and customer to schedule database activities

  • Participate in an on-call rotation as part of a global leveraged team
  • Represent database administration team in operations as well as project activities
  • Maintain detailed documentation of DBA processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate with various teams and customer to schedule database activities
  • Proficient in managing RAC cluster and DataGuard databases.
  • Trouble shooting and configuring Golden Gate replication issues
  • Experience in executing DR activities, database upgrades and patching along with all the regular database maintenance activities.
  • Accountable for performance and capacity management for databases

ExaData Administration – 

 

  • Proficient with Exa Data machines architecture (x3, x4, x5)
  • Excellent knowledge of RAC cluster
  • Experience with Linux OS
  • ExaData upgrade experience
  • Should have worked with backup appliance zfs & zba configuration
  • Resource Management [ IORM and DBRM ]
  • Exadata alerts remediation
