Role Purpose

Job Description – ServiceNow Product Manager / Project Manager (Cloud Platform

10–15 Years ;Location :Only Pune ;WO Rate :Max 220k 

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Product Manager / Project Manager to lead the strategy, delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of ServiceNow-based cloud solutions. This role combines product ownership, platform management, and project/program delivery responsibilities to drive business value across IT functions.

The ideal candidate will own the ServiceNow product roadmap, manage stakeholder expectations, drive platform adoption, and lead end-to-end migration, transformation projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities

ServiceNow Product Management

  • Define and manage the ServiceNow platform vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap.
  • Drive platform governance, risks and audits (SOX, IT Audit, Cloud governance and controls), standardization, scalability, and adoption across the organization.
  • Vendor Management- Establish and monitor product KPIs, SLAs, platform health metrics, security and compliance, and business outcomes.
  • Serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders, leadership, ServiceNow teams, and external vendors.
  • Lead customer and stakeholder engagement sessions to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization. Serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders, leadership, ServiceNow teams, and external vendors.
  • Evaluate new ServiceNow releases, features, and modules to maximize platform value and ROI.

 

Project & Program Management

  • Lead ServiceNow implementation, upgrade, migration, and transformation projects from initiation through closure.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, risk registers, and governance frameworks.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, Developers, Administrators, Business Analysts, QA, Security, and Operations teams.
  • Manage Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and release planning.
  • Ensure project delivery meets scope, quality, schedule, compliance, and budget objectives.
  • Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and executive-level reporting.

Platform Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish ServiceNow governance processes, design standards, and best practices.
  • Review customization requests to ensure alignment with out-of-the-box capabilities and platform sustainability.
  • Drive technical debt reduction and platform modernization initiatives.
  • Partner with architecture and engineering teams to define integration strategies and technical roadmaps.
  • Ensure platform compliance with enterprise security, privacy, audit, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Project Management, Program Management, or ServiceNow Platform Management.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.
  • Experience delivering large-scale cloud transformation and enterprise automation programs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and DevOps methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP / PgMP
  • PRINCE2
  • Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
  • SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager
  • ITIL Foundation or ITIL Managing Professional

ServiceNow Certifications

  • Certified System Administrator (CSA)
