Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to resolve high-priority incidents through advanced troubleshooting, ensure SLA compliance, analyse system performance trends, and create mitigation measures by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Areas of responsibility

Triaging and resolution of tickets-Provide resolution to high priority incident (P2) tickets, performing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to ensure timely closure.

SLA Monitoring-Ensure SLA compliance for assigned technology areas and ensure proactive escalation management.

Performance tuning and optimization-Analyse system performance data, coordinate findings on system behaviour, and support capacity planning initiatives to enhance overall system efficiency.

Perform system Improvements-Create mitigation measures to evaluate new tools or improvements by collaborating with technical teams.

Handling disaster recovery-Perform security assessments and recovery drills, and implement necessary controls to ensure compliance with established security standards.

Reporting and stakeholder engagement-Participate in weekly and monthly service review meetings, provide updates on performance and issues, and support stakeholder communication to ensure transparency and service alignment.

Team Management-Collaborate with team members to resolve open tickets and service requests.

Knowledge base and continuous learning Contribute to updating SOPs, knowledge articles and maintaining the knowledge repository for the purpose of future ticket resolution.

Redis / KeyDB Cloud Administrator (L3)

Experience: 5-8+ Years

Locations Preferred 1. Ist Preference is Pune and Coimbatore 2.2nd Preference is Bangalore and Hyderabad

Rates including mark up - 140 K/M

Mandatory skills.

Primary - AWS ElastiCache Redis,

Secondry - Azure Cache for Redis or KeyDB clusters.

Role Summary

Seeking an experienced Redis/KeyDB Cloud Administrator (L3) to manage, optimize, and support cloud-hosted Redis and KeyDB environments across multiple enterprise projects. The candidate will be responsible for high availability, performance tuning, security, monitoring, automation, and incident management in AWS/Azure cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain AWS ElastiCache Redis, Azure Cache for Redis, and KeyDB clusters.
  • Configure and manage replication, clustering, failover, and disaster recovery.
  • Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and memory optimization.
  • Monitor availability, latency, replication lag, and resource utilization.
  • Manage backup, restore, patching, upgrades, and migration activities.
  • Implement security controls including ACLs, IAM integration, encryption, and network isolation.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Automate operational activities using Shell/Python scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
  • Collaborate with application, cloud, and infrastructure teams to support business-critical workloads.
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call support for critical incidents.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Redis and/or KeyDB Administration.
  • Expertise in:
    • Redis Cluster & Sentinel
    • KeyDB Active-Active Replication
    • High Availability & Disaster Recovery
    • Performance Tuning & Memory Management
    • Backup & Recovery
    • Security & Access Management
  • Experience with:
    • AWS ElastiCache Redis
    • Azure Cache for Redis
    • AWS IAM, VPC, Security Groups
    • CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus
  • Strong Linux Administration knowledge.
  • Scripting experience in Shell/Python.
  • Understanding of ITIL Incident, Change, and Problem Management.

Preferred Skills

  • Kubernetes/OpenShift exposure.
  • Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MariaDB.
  • AWS/Azure Cloud Certifications.
