Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated ServiceNow Developer to join our team at the B3 level. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ITSM Pro, hands-on experience with CMDB and CSDM deployments, and a proven track record of working on ServiceNow integrations. This role demands a proactive individual who can contribute to the design, development, and optimisation of ServiceNow solutions that support our business processes and IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions using best practices and platform capabilities.
- Configure and customise ITSM Pro modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
- Lead and support CMDB and CSDM deployments, ensuring accurate data modelling and service mapping.
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and IntegrationHub.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and ensure adherence to development standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow functionality and performance.
- Maintain documentation for configurations, customisations, and integrations.
- Stay current with ServiceNow releases and recommend enhancements aligned with platform updates.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
- Strong expertise in ITSM Pro and its advanced features.
- Proven experience with CMDB and CSDM implementation and optimisation.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or equivalent certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Experience with Performance Analytics, Flow Designer, and App Engine Studio.
- Exposure to ITOM, SecOps, or HRSD modules.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow.

Do
- Provide adequate support in architecture planning, migration & installation for new projects in own tower (platform/dbase/ middleware/ backup)
- Lead the structural/ architectural design of a platform/ middleware/ database/ back up etc. according to various system requirements to ensure a highly scalable and extensible solution
- Conduct technology capacity planning by reviewing the current and future requirements
- Utilize and leverage the new features of all underlying technologies to ensure smooth functioning of the installed databases and applications/ platforms, as applicable
- Strategize & implement disaster recovery plans and create and implement backup and recovery plans
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the tower
- Manage day-to-day operations by troubleshooting any issues, conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and developing fixes to avoid similar issues.
- Plan for and manage upgradations, migration, maintenance, backup, installation and configuration functions for own tower
- Review the technical performance of own tower and deploy ways to improve efficiency, fine tune performance and reduce performance challenges
- Develop shift roster for the team to ensure no disruption in the tower
- Create and update SOPs, Data Responsibility Matrices, operations manuals, daily test plans, data architecture guidance etc.
- Provide weekly status reports to the client leadership team, internal stakeholders on database activities w.r.t. progress, updates, status, and next steps
- Leverage technology to develop Service Improvement Plan (SIP) through automation and other initiatives for higher efficiency and effectiveness
