Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MES Consultant with strong expertise in Rockwell Automation PLCs and SCADA systems to support the design, implementation, integration, and optimization of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). The consultant will work closely with manufacturing, IT, and automation teams to ensure seamless integration between shop-floor systems and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and support MES solutions aligned with manufacturing processes.

  • Integrate MES with Rockwell Automation PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix).

  • Configure and support SCADA systems (FactoryTalk View SE/ME).

  • Develop and maintain interfaces between PLC, SCADA, MES, and ERP systems.

  • Analyze production workflows and translate business requirements into MES functionalities.

  • Support data collection, traceability, genealogy, OEE, downtime, and quality modules.

  • Troubleshoot automation, MES, and communication issues across shop-floor systems.

  • Conduct system testing, validation, and commissioning.

  • Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and user training materials.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, IT, Quality, Maintenance).

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
