Job Description

A bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Information Technology or a related field (computer science, mathematics, etc.) focusing on data analysis.
Ideally 5+ years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer in Big Data.
Strong experience in executing complex data analysis and running complex SQL queries.
Knowledge of programming languages (Python / Scala, Spark, SQL) and Big Data technologies (Azure Cloud, Databricks, Power BI or equivalent) is advantageous.
Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
Familiarity with Azure Authentication, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Managed AKS environments.
Understanding of AI services such as Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning, and other AI-related tools.
Basic understanding of Agentic/Generative AI technologies, including:
Large Language Models (LLMs) (e.g., OpenAI GPT, Azure OpenAI, or similar).
Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques for tasks like text generation, summarization, and sentiment analysis.
Transformer architectures and their role in modern AI applications.
Prompt engineering and fine-tuning of pre-trained models for specific business use cases.
AI model deployment using tools like Azure Machine Learning, MLOps frameworks, or containerized environments (e.g., AKS).
Awareness of ethical AI practices, including bias detection, explainability, and responsible AI principles.
Good understanding and experience with Agile methodologies and delivery.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build partnerships with stakeholders.
Strong analytical, data management, and problem-solving skills.
Flexible and resilient team player with strong interpersonal skills, taking initiative to drive things forward.
Keen interest in understanding the business context for the data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work as part of a global team.
Fluent in English.
