Job Description: 

Microfocus IMS DB

JD 

Experience. - 8 to 12 Years

Location - Pan India

  1. Must have a deep understanding of Microfocus platform, with 5-10 years' experience in deploying/building solution using Microfocus on Windows platform.
  2. Overall experience of  10-15 years in Designing/developing and implementing solutions on Mainframe Technologies.
  3. Must have experience in legacy modernization of applications using Microfocus and AWS
  4. Well versed with Micro focus Enterprise developer and Enterprise Server
  5. Ability to write automation scripts, CI/CD DevOps pipelines.
  6. Domain areas: Legacy application, Migration, Insurance and Banking
  7. Databases: DB2, IMS DB, SQL Server
  8. Languages/Tools/scripts: COBOL (Mainframe & Micro Focus), PL/1, CICS, JCL, VSAM, SQL.
  9. Collaborate within and cross functional teams to resolve impediments
  10. Drive Continuous improvements – Housekeeping/Automation improvements.
  11. Critical thinking,  ability to find new  solutions
  12. Strong communication skills is a must

2. Technical Architect Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science.
  • Previous work experience as a technical architect.

Mandatory Skills: Micro Focus COBOL .
