Job Description: 

͏Microsoft Entra ID Architect

Experience: 10 plus years

Joining Location: Pune

Role Definition:  A Microsoft Entra ID Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing enterprise identity architecture using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), with a focus on Zero Trust, conditional access, privileged identity management, and integration with cloud/on‑prem systems. The role blends deep technical expertise with strategic security leadership

Core Responsibilities

  • Identity Architecture
    • Define and maintain enterprise identity architecture leveraging Entra ID.
    • Govern roles, permissions, and consent management (least privilege).
    • Design tenant baseline configurations and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Conditional Access & MFA
    • Implement adaptive Conditional Access policies based on user, device, and risk signals.
    • Roll out phishing‑resistant MFA, passwordless authentication (FIDO2, WebAuthn).
    • Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for authentication flows.
  • Lifecycle Automation
    • Automate Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes.
    • Deploy Entra ID Governance (IGA), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Access Reviews.
    • Integrate SaaS apps with SCIM provisioning.
  • Cloud & Hybrid Integration
    • Manage Entra Connect, Cloud Sync, federation, and SSO configurations.
    • Securely manage application secrets and certificates with Azure Key Vault.
    • Integrate with Microsoft Sentinel and Azure Monitor for audit and monitoring.
  • Strategic Problem Solving
    • Lead structured problem‑solving for identity security challenges.
    • Propose scalable solutions aligned with enterprise risk appetite.
    • Influence leadership to adopt new approaches and remediate systemic issues.
